Officiants for
Love and Life
Most people begin with the details.
The venue.
The timeline.
The plan.
Very few pause to ask what
this moment is really for.
Not just a day.
Not just a gathering.
But the beginning of something you will live inside of.
If you are here, you may already feel it.
A quiet knowing
that this deserves more care.
More intention.
More truth.
We create ceremonies that reflect who you are, your values and the life you are choosing.
Not something to move through.
Something to begin from.
You might be thinking:
We want something meaningful,
but we don’t know what that looks like.
We don’t want something traditional,
but we don’t want it to feel unstructured.
We want it to feel authentically like us
but we don’t know how to get there.
Or maybe you feel that this moment
matters more than it is often treated.
You are right.
Through guided conversation, we uncover what matters most to each of you so the ceremony reflects your relationship, your values,
and the life you are choosing.

The wedding and event industry often places enormous attention on the celebration that
follows the ceremony.
The venue.
The décor.
The menu.
Yet the ceremony is the moment where your marriage and the honouring begin.
We believe this moment should reflect your values and desires and it
deserves intention and care.
A ceremony should honour the journey that brought you to this place in time and the path you are choosing to walk together as a couple and a family.
This is the work we care deeply about.
We believe ceremony matters.
We believe words and intention matter.
We believe every couple and family deserves a ceremony that reflects who they truly are.
We believe all weddings and ceremonies should begin with meaning and reflection,
not logistics.

What if your wedding ceremony felt
like the centre of your day, not something to move through on the way to it?
We begin by uncovering the values that already shape your relationship. From there, we design a ceremony that reflects your story, your way of loving, and the future you are choosing together.
This is where your marriage begins.
A moment you will carry with you
long after the day is over.

Simple. Clear. Complete.
For couples who want to make
their marriage legal
without a full ceremony.
A respectful, grounded moment
that quietly marks the beginning.

Many families feel disconnected from
traditional funerals.
It does not have to look the way it always has.
We shape and hold deeply personal honouring ceremonies that reflect a life through story, connection, and meaning.
A ceremony does not change the loss, but it can change how we carry it.
Anyone can lead a funeral or celebration of life.
What matters is choosing someone who can hold the moment with care, presence, and respect.

Some of life’s most meaningful moments
are the ones we don’t always
know how to honour.
A child welcomed.
A beloved pet held in memory.
A retirement or turning point,
quietly acknowledged.
These moments deserve presence.
They deserve words.
They deserve care.

You don’t need to have everything figured out.
Send us a message.
Share what you know so far.
We begin with a conversation,
not a commitment.
🤍

Before we write the ceremony, we explore
your story,
your values,
and what matters most to each of you.
This is where the
foundation is built.
🤍

Using everything
we have heard,
we create a ceremony that feels grounded,
personal,
and true to the
relationship you are
stepping into.
🤍

You will have space to review, reflect,
and make sure the
ceremony feels like you.
Nothing generic.
Nothing performative.
🤍

You arrive with clarity,
trust, and
a sense of calm.
You know what is being said, why it matters,
and how this moment
will hold you.

FOUNDER, LICENCED OFFICIANT,
CEREMONIALIST & STORYTELLER
My life has been shaped by many chapters. Marriage, motherhood, loss, renewal, friendship, grandparenthood. Each one has taught me that every life, every story, every experience deserves to be honoured.
I am a writer and advisor working with organizations across Canada, helping leaders and communities articulate their values, their purpose, and the stories that guide their future. At the heart of that work is deep listening for what matters and giving it language.
That is the same work I bring to ceremony.
With formal training in grief and bereavement through Wilfrid Laurier University, I hold space with care, steadiness, and respect for what is often tender and unspoken.
As a licensed officiant, ceremonialist, and storyteller, I create ceremonies that reflect the truth of who you are and the path you are choosing forward. Every ceremony begins the same way. By listening for the story, the values, for what matters most, and the
life that is unfolding.
When the words are true, a ceremony becomes more than a moment. It becomes something you carry with you.

ASSOCIATE, LICENCED WEDDING OFFICIANT & ADVOCATE
I bring warmth, presence, and a deep respect for the human stories that shape our lives. My work with people and communities has given me a natural ability to create welcoming spaces where individuals and families feel seen, valued, and supported.
For more than thirty years, I have worked alongside the Urban Indigenous community in Ottawa, advocating for children and families while supporting dignity, justice, and belonging. This experience has shaped how I listen, understand, and hold space during both joyful and tender moments. I have been honoured to stand with individuals and families through many of life’s meaningful transitions.
I am deeply creative at heart, and I believe every person deserves to be celebrated in both the big and quiet moments. Each milestone matters because it tells a story of who we are and who we are becoming.
As a licenced officiant and floral arranger, I believe ceremonies should feel authentic, inclusive, and deeply personal, honouring the unique path of every couple and family. I create personalized weddings that reflect each couple's love story, ensuring that every ceremony is meaningful and grounded in listening, storytelling, creativity, and genuine human connection.
